We’ve had an eventful summer here at Brelby Theatre Co!
Throughout the ups and downs of trying to get our studio construction on the right path, we’ve been blessed to begin building some truly special relationships with local business owners in the Downtown Glendale area. Through these relationships, we’re delighted to announce that we have some new and exciting partnerships to reveal.
First up, we’re beginning a new series of interactive dinner theatres. Once a month, the community will be able to join us for “Murder At the Gaslight,” to put on their detective hats and use some deductive skills over a delicious dinner at the Gaslight Inn. First up, we’ll be putting together a 1920s inspired romp through the Prohibition Era with “The Great Gasp-by.”
Next up, we’re excited to branch out and produce our first piece of original children’s theatre. We’ll be performing in stunning courtyard outside of Papa Ed’s Ice Cream, located in Downtown Glendale’s Catlin Court district. Join us Oct 19-21 & 26-27, and meet a whole new cast of adorable characters. Melody, an 8 year old who loves tap dancing, her ukulele and science; Petrichor, the desert fairy that tends to the plants in her front yard; Roman the garden gnome who defends the yard from unwanted intruders; and their best friends Larry the prairie dog and Jen the Cactus Wren.
We’re still pushing through to get our studio space open, and we truly appreciate all of the wonderful support we’ve received since moving to the West Valley. We’re happy to be home!
