Alixandra is a junior attending Scottsdale Community College, studying Graphic Design and Photography, and is ecstatic to be making her Brelby debut and in one of her dream roles, “Carrie White.” Credits include First Date (Casey-SCC), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Naomi-Spotlight), Dog Sees God (Van’s Sister, AriZoni win, NYA win, Spotlight), You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Lucy, NYA win-GCU) and The Wedding Singer (Linda, NYA win-ACAA). She would love to thank Shelby, Helen, Kevin & Sarah for this amazing opportunity, the amazing cast, her wonderful family, friends and Noah for their endless love and support.

DeAnna is thrilled to be given the opportunity to play one of her dream roles as Margaret White. This is her 2nd time on the Brelby stage; she joined them last year for a Miscast Cabaret. Recent credits include Miss Hannigan in Annie (Dream City); Lady Olivia in Twelfth Night and Decius in Julius Caesar, both at Southwest Shakespeare; Joanne in RENT, Dr. Scott/Eddie in Rocky Horror, Sarah in Company, and Dragon in Shrek, all at MAD Theatre in Tampa, Florida. Run for Your Wife, Caught in the Net, and Fiddler on the Roof, Prather Ent. National Tour. Other favorites include Pennywise in Urinetown, Violet in 9 to 5, and Mabel in Pajama Game (all 3 AriZoni Noms). She would like to thank her husband Michael for his endless love and support, Mom for the babysitting, and all my love to my girls Amaya and Rowen: life is brighter with you in it. Ixy is excited to be back on the Brelby stage! She is a local theatre actress, amateur baker, and cat mom. Previous Brelby acting credits include: Hero/Verges in Much Ado…; Miriam in Fly by Night; Young Republicanette in Heathers: The Musical; Boise in Blacklisters (ariZoni nom); Layla in Quest for Claus; Jane Austen in After Hours at Rosie’s Pub; Player in Postcards from the Apocalypse (ariZoni nom); Ferdinand in The Tempest; Jo March in Little Women: The Musical. She was also the hair and makeup designer for 25th Annual… and the dialect coach for Marie’s Reverie. Other selected credits include Congregant in The Christians; Sally in You’re a Good Man…; Missy in The Marvelous Wonderettes; and Dolores in The Wild Party. She would like to thank Brelby for their never-ending faith, trust, and pixie dust, and her family for their constant love and support.

Noah is excited to be making his Brelby debut! He’s a freshman at Scottsdale Community College, studying film. His favorite roles include Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (SYT, NYA win and Zoni nomination), Beethoven in Dog Sees God (SYT, NYA and Zoni nomination), Gordon in Rent (Greasepaint), Peter Pan in Shrek the Musical (VYT) and Pugsley Addams in The Addams Family (ACT). Jesse is excited to be back at Brelby for this project! She was last seen as Claire in bare (SYT), Eurydice in Jasper In Deadland (Brelby), and I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change (PVCC). Nick honestly thought his performing days were a thing of the past, and is honored and humbled to be returning to the stage. His past credits include: Bert Healey in Annie, Mr. Green in Clue: The Musical, Cornelius Hackl in Hello, Dolly! and Benjamin in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Nick particularly enjoys tap dancing, and dusts off those shoes periodically to make sure he still has it. He would especially like to thank the Brelby Theatre Company for welcoming him with open arms, his bff crews (The Drooly Trulys and the BPC) and his coworkers for their support, and his husband Blake for literally everything else!

Kiley is delighted to be performing at Brelby for the first time after a years-long musical theatre hiatus. She was most recently seen in Feminist Horror Stories (Now and Then Creative Company) and previously enjoyed singing with her barbershop quartet, Ignite (Sweet Adelines International), and performing with Farce Side Sketch Comedy (ASU), Barren Mind Improvisation (ASU, National College Improv Tournament Regional Champions) and Joey’s Wet Dream Improv (The Torch Theatre). She would like to thank the cast and crew for being exceptionally supportive and her mom for always pushing her to be her best.

Trystynn is very excited to be performing at Brelby for the first time. Trystynn was most recently seen in A Christmas Carol (TheaterWorks 2018). She loves Carrie the Musical and is very excited to be a part of it. She would especially like to thank her mother Andria, sister Alex, and Aunt Deana for being her biggest supporters and helping her in any way they can when it comes to her acting dream. Gordon is thrilled to have the opportunity to bring to life one of their dream shows. It is their first time on the Brelby stage. Recently they were in Celebration of Christmas as a dancer (Dream City Church), Annie as Ensemble (FBC), and Seussical the Musical as Wickersham #2 (Moezart productions). He would like to thank everyone in the cast and crew of Carrie for pushing him every rehearsal and also helping him get to and from. He also would love to thank his best friend Jorie Mcquaid for pushing him to audition.

His most notable works include Treasure Island (O’Brien – NYA nom.), Shrek: The Musical Jr. (Shrek – BWA nom.), Radium Girls (Actor 11 – NYA nom., BWA nom.), Annie Jr. (Miss Hannigan/Mr. Pugh/Officer Ward), Monty Python’s Spamalot (French Taunter/et al), and Puffs (Justin Finch-Fletchly/Zach Smith/et al). Much love to Bear’s family and friends who put up with this theater nonsense, and to Mom, who showed the path to the stage.

Shelby Maticic (Director/Choreographer/Costume Designer) is is a Zoni-winning playwright (Return to Rosie’s Pub) and designer. She received her B.S. in Theatre Performance from NAU, and her MFA in Arts Entrepreneurship and Management from ASU. Shelby is proud to serve as the Vice President of the ariZoni Awards of Theatre Excellence. Select Brelby Acting Credits: Peter and the Starcatcher (Molly Aster) She Kills Monsters (Agnes), Twelfth Night (Viola), Playing Games (Mel), Fangirl (Sophia), Windfall (Olivia). Select Brelby Directing credits: Godspell, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Little Women: the musical, Little Shop of Horrors, Ghost the Musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Dogfight, Heathers the Musical. Extra love to Brian and Rory.

Helen Morris (Music Director) is a high school vocals teacher, musical theatre workshop instructor, and private piano, vocals, and music theory coach. Recent Brelby credits include Luna & Solis (Musician / Composer), Evil Dead the Musical (Music Director), Alice’s Canvas (Alice) and Jasper in Deadland (Music Director). She is also co-writer (music & lyrics) of the upcoming musical Echoes, which workshops March 27 & 28 and opens July 2020 – come check it out! Many thanks to Shelby, Sarah and Kevin, extra love to the strong ladies who constantly inspire her, and to the audience for keeping theatre alive! Thank you!

Sarah Bary (Stage Manager) last appeared on the Brelby stage as Louise in the world premiere of Marie’s Reverie, which she also choreographed. Other recent credits include Shelly in Evil Dead: the Musical and Sienna in Luna & Solis, for which she also co-designed the set. She would like to thank John, her family, and her friends for their love and support.

Kayleen Harshbarger (Assistant Stage Manager) recently made her Brelby stage debut in Marie’s Reverie (Caramel Countess). Other recent credits include Costume Design for Evil Dead the Musical at Brelby, Grand Canyon University’s productions of Godspell and Macbeth (Hair & Makeup Design), and Blk Box PHX’s S#!tfaced Shakespeare (Assistant Stage Manager). She would like to dedicate her work on this show to her late mother, Maria Harshbarger, who endlessly supported her love of theatre and dance. Lastly, she would like to thank the cast and crew for all of their hard work, her family, and her best friends for their endless support.

Brian Maticic (Scenic Designer) received his B.S. in Theatre Performance from NAU. Acting: Black Stache/Peter and the Starcatcher (ariZoni nomination), Robert/12 Days of Christmas, Bob/Revenge of the Space Pandas, Duke Orsino/Twelfth Night, Bill/Poseidon’s Regret. Directing: She Kills Monsters, Love’s Labours Lost, Be a Good Little Widow, Princess and the Pirate, Beyond Musketeers: Utopia Lost, missing grace, The Oz Chronicles, Evil Dead: the Musical, Luna & Solis. Playwright: Playing Games, Non-fat Soy Peppermint Mocha Latte … With Sprinkles, 12 Days of Christmas, Beyond Musketeers: Utopia Lost, Windfall, Depend on Me, Luna & Solis. Brian is the recipient of a 2019 ariZoni award for his fight choreography for TheatreWorks’ YouthWorks production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

John Noseworthy (Assistant Scenic Designer) has appeared onstage in Brelby’s productions of Alice’s Canvas (The Jabberwocky) and Wolves of Sherwood (Will). In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and playing video games.James Beneze (Lighting Designer) has done extensive work both on and off the Brelby stage.  His acting credits include Return to Rosie’s Pub (Server #2) and Alice’s Canvas (White Rabbit).  James was also the Assistant Director of last summer’s Jasper in Deadland and the Stage Manager for Wolves of Sherwood and Luna & Solis.  He would like to thank his friends and family for supporting his passion for theatre, especially Jen for bringing light to his life.

Clayton Caufman (Sound Designer) is thrilled, as always, to be bringing this show sonically to life. Clayton is a director of Results May Vary and bassist for Bangarang Orangutan. Previous credits include Evil Dead: The Musical (Jake), Alice’s Canvas (Caterpillar), Wolves of Sherwood (Music Composition – ariZoni Award nominee), and Luna & Solis (Dez/Lighting Designer).

Ian Rey Sausedo (Hair & Makeup Designer) has been happy to be a part of this amazing musical! Recent Brelby credits include Marie’s Reverie (Madame Mouserinks), Luna & Solis (Prop Designer), Evil Dead the Musical (Makeup), Alice’s Canvas (Mad Hatter), As You Like It (Touchstone), and Return to Rosie’s Pub (Sylvia Rivera). As one of the newest members of the Brelby Company, they would like to thank the company for being an amazing and supportive family to grow with.

Jen Gantwerker (Prop Designer) loves making things, and hopes you enjoy seeing the things she’s made. It’s been especially fulfilling working alongside this incredibly talented cast and this wildly creative team of designers, all to bring you this beautiful show that “once you see, you can’t unsee.”
