February is here and you know what that mean? In Glendale…it means…CHOCOLATE. The annual Glendale Chocolate Affair is coming up this weekend (Feb 5th 5pm-10pm, Feb 6th 10am-10pm, Feb 7th Noon-5pm).
Our Season 8 opener, Windfall, has had two great weekends of shows already, and you still have two weekends to catch the high energy dark comedy. Audiences have been raving, (I’m not just saying that because I’m married to the playwright) and it’s been a great way to kick off a new season.
Look at those smiling faces…aren’t you just itching to #comedowntothetown for the Glendale Chocolate Affair and to see Windfall? It’s the perfect date night!
Also opening this month?
missing grace, by resident artist John Perovich. This piece will open our 2016 Studio Series with a dramatic and captivating script by the same playwright who brought us last year’s Poseidon’s Regret. The story is being kept a bit of a mystery…but that only adds to the intrigue. The script is great, the cast is stellar, and this piece is going to continue to set the bar for a strong season of world premieres at the Brelby Studio.
I’m so excited that we’re kicking off a new session of classes at the Brelby Studio this week. You can check out the list of what we’re offering over at the “learn with us” section of our site. Improv classes with David? The production intensive with myself, Brian and John? Fight club with Brian? A youth theatre ensemble? Come learn with us, and get to know the Brelby family!
Throw in FIVE chances to see Results May Vary perform, and we’ve got a packed month of entertainment in historic downtown Glendale!
(Speaking of Results May Vary, auditions for the team are coming up at the end of the month…and we’d love to see you there.
So there you have it…a bunch of February action coming your way…and we want to see you in Glendale!
